Welfare Activities
Cause Description
United Volunteers Association has been involved in many welfare activities with a mission to help the society to be a better place.
Few of the welfare activities we have conducted in the last couple of years are:
Every year UVA raises funds to distributes groceries for the month of RAMADAN among the needy families.
We have been doing this activity in
- Houston, Texas, USA
- Austin, Texas, USA.
- Multiple States/Cities, India.
Fund Raisers:
UVA has been consistently having this activity of distributing EID Goodies to the children within the society who are not able to observe their childhood because of various circumstances.
UVA distributes food packets within the area of Homeless/poor people every week, providing hygienic packed food to the homeless around the area.
UVA has been handling cases where it supports the marriage for the poor.
Women Empowerment Program: UVA has started 5 FREE Ladies tailoring Institute’s in order to create a way of employment for the women’, train them and make them self-sustainable to have their own work started in various parts of India.
