Ramadan Distribution Program

Every year, United Volunteers Association (UVA) raises funds to distribute monthly grocery supplies to needy families during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative ensures that vulnerable families can observe Ramadan with dignity, without the burden of food insecurity.

Through the support of donors and volunteers, UVA has been consistently carrying out this Ramadan grocery distribution program in the following locations:

Goodies For Childrens

United Volunteers Association (UVA) has been consistently organizing the distribution of Eid goodies to children who, due to difficult circumstances, are unable to fully enjoy their childhood and festive celebrations.

Through this initiative, UVA brings smiles, joy, and a sense of belonging to these children by providing gifts, sweets, and essential festive items. Each package is carefully prepared to make the child feel valued and included during the celebrations.

Poor Girl Marriage

UVA has started five free Ladies Tailoring Institutes to create employment opportunities for women and help them become self-reliant.

Through professional training and skill development, these institutes empower women to start their own work, earn a livelihood, and support their families with dignity.

This initiative is helping women build confidence, independence, and a better future across various parts of India.

The institutes provide structured training programs led by experienced instructors who guide women step by step. From basic stitching techniques to advanced garment designing, participants receive practical, hands-on learning. The courses are designed to suit beginners as well as those who want to upgrade their skills.

Women are trained not only in tailoring but also in customer handling, pricing, and small business management. This ensures they are fully prepared to take orders and manage their own work professionally. Many graduates have started home-based businesses, while others have secured jobs in boutiques and tailoring shops.
